Not a car that is cheap to repair I’m guessing. Hard to tell in the photo, but it juuuuust wasn’t touching.

I don’t really want to ever go back to pre-Jeep-height cars because I’ve gotten so spoiled by pulling up to any curb without a care in the world.
I managed to scratch a rental Turo S2000; thankfully the owner had already done that himself and didn’t care.

The license plate bracket on the front of the Fiat was a good warning. Not that it mattered after someone hit the bumper in the parking lot at work.

And judging by the damage to the bumper they’ve scraped it before. I’ve seen that sort of luck before with handicap signs on poles but never on something this high end. Should have bought a Cayenne.

Luck. Or the driver hit it, then backed up 3 mm.

This completely, I was driving a mates Audi RS4 in London, we reached the destination and then I curbed the shit out of his front near side alloy. I’d become complacent, my Freelander or Range Rover just bouncing up over everything, be it curb, rock or badly placed pedestrian. This is gonna be a problem, as my next car is shaping up to be an E34 or a Jag or Alfa, a saloon of some description. Also the noise the Audi made on contact , I thought I’d broken something serious.
